Mark Jones is a highly qualified and experienced outdoor educator and key team member of Adventure Philosophy. In January and February 2001, the Adventure Philosophy team paddled their way into the history books by completing the first Sea Kayak traverse of the Antarctic Peninsula. They have completed the first circumnavigation of the "unclaimed coast" of South Georgia island by kayaks in 2005. Adventure Philosophy believes in an Adventurous Spirit -the determination to pursue a dream or vision. The tenacity to overcome barriers, a willingness to take calculated risks, and a respect and affinity for the earth.
