Raft ‘N Rivers (P) Ltd. is a Kathmandu based outfitter that specializes in the highest quality rafting adventures on the rivers of the Himalayas. We began commercial rafting in Nepal in December 1991, when we decided to start a company and simply name it after the inflatable rubber boats we use and where we love to use them, the river. Whether you are a first time novice or an experienced thrill-seeker who has rafted all over the world, we will ensure this trip is the greatest adventure of your life.

We specialize in organizing individual and group trips for rafting, kayaking and Hydro Speeding. Unlike other companies who outsource a lot of their work we keep all of our trips in our small tightly knit family. Kumar Gurgung, the director of Raft ‘N Rivers, spent much of his young adult life working for some of the bigger adventure travel agencies in Nepal. Finally after years of working with these bigger outfitters, who cared more about the money than the trip experiences they were giving people, Kumar became frustrated and decided to start own agency that would concentrate not on the money but on the people.
