Remote River Expeditions is a small hands-on company with 20+ years experience offering "unique vacations in exotic locations". We specialize in custom tailored programs for individuals, families, and small groups in Madagascar, Ethiopia, and Tanzania.

Madagascar, in particular, is quickly becoming known as a safe and exciting destination and throughout the year excellent options are available. We are based at the Chez Maggie Hotel in Morondava on Madagascar's west coast. We have been exploring and operating programs on the island since 1985. We are also Ethiopia's Omo River specialists and have been offering high quality expeditions on the river for over 20 years.
