Riad Azama - historical guest house in Morocco

Enjoy this authentic traditional Moroccan house in the old historical medina. Discover real Moroccan life, close to the nice beach of Azemmour Plage.

Riad Azama, a traditionnal Riad (end of 18 th century) perfectly renovated is situated in the old medina of Azemmour, a short walking distance from the spot of surfing and kitesurfing (Azemmour plage - El Haouzia)

Enter by "Bab Makhzen" then turn left twice. The blue door of the Riad is at the end of the small street.

At the reception free wifi access.
In the middle of the house is a "patio" with a fountain. You'll be surprised by the giant banana-trees where small free parrots fly and give an incredible exotic touch.
On the groundfloor 3 rooms (2 large "suite" and 1 smaller room) - (one large room is suitable for family) .A small salon with a lot of books about Morocco. Table and chairs available for each room in the "patio"
On the first floor: 3 rooms (2 large "suite" and 1 smaller room but with an extra bed in mezzanine.)
Three of our suite have a "king bed" (1,8O m large)

On the second floor, the first terrace with its pergola and its solarium with sunbathing chairs.

On the top, the highest terrace offers a panoramic view over the medina. The sea on the horizon and the river.

In another part of the riad is the "Douiria" (the small house) with the dining room for winter season.
Its ceiling is hand painted and is a part of Azemmour patrimony.

Our cook Nezha can prepare typical and traditionnal moroccan meals: she's an expert in Moroccan food: Harrira, Couscous, ans so many different types of Tagines. if you prefer to stay in the Riad after a day of visits or water-sports, we can arrange half-board with evening meals (about 12 euros extra per person and per day)
